18-Year-Old Ayush Makes History With Century in All Three Formats

At just 18 years and 135 days, India’s U19 captain Ayush has become the youngest player to score centuries in all three recognized formats of cricket. On Friday, he played a stunning 110* off 53 balls against Vidarbha in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, marking his first T20 century.

Earlier, he had scored two centuries in 22 first-class innings and two in seven List A matches. This achievement makes him the youngest cricketer to score centuries in all three formats, surpassing Indian legend Rohit Sharma, who achieved the feat at 19 years and 339 days.

Ayush also became the third youngest player to score a T20 century, behind Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Vijay Zol.

In the match, Vidarbha posted 192 runs, thanks to fifties from openers Atharv Tairde (64) and Aman Mokhar (61). Mumbai chased the target comfortably, with Ayush’s 110* leading them to a seven-wicket victory with 13 balls to spare. Shivam Dube added 39 off 19 balls, while Suryakumar Yadav scored 35 off 30.

Ayush’s innings highlighted aggressive stroke play, precision, and mental resilience. His performance not only sets records but also establishes him as one of India’s most promising young talents.
