The Bangladesh Cricket Board has published the final overseas player list for BPL 12, featuring 250 cricketers out of over 500 initial registrations. Among them, a single Indian cricketer has secured a spot.
Each franchise may directly contract up to two foreign players prior to the auction. During the bidding, every team is required to purchase at least two overseas players. A total of USD 350,000 has been set aside to acquire four foreign stars per squad.
The 12th BPL season will commence on 19 December 2025, with an opening ceremony on 17 December in Dhaka. The grand final is scheduled for 16 January 2026.
