Sylhet Titans have strengthened their squad for the upcoming BPL season by signing Pakistan’s experienced left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir on a direct contract. The franchise confirmed the news through a press release on Thursday.
Amir has extensive international experience and has previously played multiple BPL seasons, making him a valuable asset in T20 cricket. His inclusion boosts Sylhet’s pace attack significantly ahead of the new season.
The franchise’s management stated that Amir was recruited as part of their plan to bring in top international performers to chase the championship. Apart from on-field performance, his leadership and experience in the dressing room are expected to be invaluable.
In addition, Sylhet Titans have signed two key domestic players on direct contracts: ODI captain Mehedi Hasan Miraz and spinner Nasum Ahmed. The inclusion of these three players gives Sylhet a balanced squad with experience, pace, and spin options.
