Star-Studded Daytona Grid Confirmed

The full entry list for the 64th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona has been finalised, revealing a formidable 60-car grid set to contest one of endurance racing’s most prestigious events from 22–25 January 2026. Despite the late withdrawal of Team Tonis’ LMP2 entry, the field remains one of the deepest and most diverse in recent memory, spanning four classes and featuring world champions, Le Mans winners and elite drivers from across the global motorsport landscape.

At the head of the field, the GTP category once again showcases the cutting edge of prototype racing. Eleven cars will contest overall honours, led by factory-backed efforts from Porsche Penske Motorsport, BMW M Team WRT, Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing and Meyer Shank Racing with Acura. Porsche fields two 963s boasting an enviable blend of endurance pedigree and outright speed, with drivers such as Kevin Estre, Matt Campbell and Felipe Nasr. Cadillac counters with multiple V-Series.R entries, including star-studded line-ups featuring Ricky and Jordan Taylor, Colton Herta and Jack Aitken.

One of the most intriguing additions is Aston Martin’s Valkyrie, entered by THOR Team, bringing a road-car-derived hypercar concept to Daytona with a quartet of proven GT and endurance racers.

LMP2 remains a cornerstone of the event, with 14 ORECA 07 chassis forming a fiercely competitive middle tier. United Autosports, Tower Motorsports, TDS Racing and Inter Europol Competition are among the headline teams, while the driver rosters feature a compelling mix of endurance specialists, IndyCar race winners and former Formula 1 drivers such as Paul di Resta, Logan Sargeant and Sebastien Bourdais.

The GT ranks are equally compelling. GTD Pro, with 15 entries, reads like a roll call of factory GT excellence. BMW, Corvette, Ferrari, Ford, Lexus, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG, McLaren and Porsche are all represented. Works-supported squads such as Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports and Ford Multimatic Motorsports are joined by high-profile independent teams, while the driver lists include IMSA champions, Le Mans class winners and IndyCar stars like Will Power and James Hinchcliffe.

GTD, the largest class with 21 entries, underlines the democratic spirit of the Rolex 24. Pro-am line-ups from teams such as Heart of Racing, Magnus Racing and Wright Motorsports ensure depth, unpredictability and relentless competition throughout the field.

With its blend of prototype innovation, GT firepower and unparalleled driver diversity, the 2026 Rolex 24 promises another compelling chapter in Daytona’s rich history. Over 24 hours, reputations will be tested, strategies stretched and endurance rewarded — all beneath the unforgiving Florida sun and floodlights.
