In an unprecedented display of enthusiasm, all 18,000 general gallery tickets for the upcoming Bangladesh–India football match were sold out within just three minutes of going on sale. The confirmation came from Golam Gaus, Chairman of the Competition Committee of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
Ticket sales opened online at 2:00 PM today, as scheduled, and astonishingly, the entire allocation was sold out by 2:03 PM. According to BFF officials, this marks the fastest ticket sell-out in the history of Bangladeshi football. No other sporting event in the country has witnessed such rapid sales, making this a record-breaking occasion for the national team and its passionate supporters.
For this highly anticipated encounter, ticket prices were increased — general gallery seats rose by BDT 100 to BDT 500, while other sections of the stadium saw proportional price adjustments. However, the increased prices did little to dampen demand; the excitement surrounding the fixture has surpassed all expectations and set a new benchmark for football fandom in Bangladesh.
The AFC Asian Cup Qualifier between Bangladesh and India is set to take place on 18 November at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Paltan, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 PM local time.

In the current qualifying campaign, Bangladesh have earned two points from four matches. However, the team suffered a narrow 3–4 defeat at home on 9 October, and later lost 2–1 to Singapore in another match.
Under the leadership of Jamal Bhuyan, Bangladesh will now look to secure their first win of the qualifiers in front of a capacity crowd. With tickets selling out in record time, a packed and vibrant atmosphere is expected at the national stadium as the home fans rally behind the red and green.
