Ahead of the upcoming IPL season, Punjab Kings have appointed former Indian cricketer Sairaj Bahutule as their new spin-bowling coach. He replaces Sunil Joshi in the role.
Bahutule previously worked as the spin-bowling coach for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. He also has coaching experience with several domestic teams, including Kerala, Gujarat, Vidarbha, and Bengal.
The former spinner represented India in two Test matches and eight One-Day Internationals. He expressed his delight at joining the Punjab Kings setup.
“I’m extremely excited to join Punjab Kings as the spin-bowling coach for the upcoming IPL season. This is a team that plays a unique brand of cricket. There are plenty of talented players here, and I’m eager to work with them and help sharpen their skills.”
