The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has issued No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for Mominul Haque, Mustafizur Rahman, and Taskin Ahmed to participate in overseas leagues until 23 December. Shahriar Nafis, the In-Charge of BCB’s Cricket Operations, confirmed the matter.
Mominul Haque has already departed for Australia and will play for Blacktown District Cricket Club in the New South Wales Grade Cricket. This competition, organised by the Sydney Cricket Association, has a long-standing tradition. Prominent Australian cricketers, including Steve Smith and Mitchell Starc, have previously made their mark in this league.
Mustafizur Rahman left the country on Thursday night to compete in the IL T20 league in the United Arab Emirates, representing the Dubai Capitals. Taskin Ahmed will participate for the Shurjah Warriors.
Earlier, BCB had permitted leg-spinner Rishad Hossain to play in the Big Bash League. He will play for Hobart Hurricanes when the league begins on 14 December. Both Mustafizur and Taskin are expected to return before the start of the BPL.
