Playing in the United Arab Emirates, Mustafizur made an immediate impact, taking two crucial wickets and grabbing two sharp catches, even though the Capitals ultimately lost by four wickets.
Batting first, Dubai Capitals posted a competitive total of 160 runs. Chasing the target, Gulf Giants reached the score comfortably with seven balls and four wickets to spare, thanks to a blistering innings from Patum Nishanka.
Mustafizur struck early, dismissing Gulf opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz with the very first ball of his spell. After conceding just 11 runs in his opening over, he returned in the final over of the powerplay, creating another opportunity for a wicket.
