After being sent in to bat, Lanning struck a fluent 60 from 41 deliveries, peppered with nine boundaries and a six, effortlessly anchoring the Stars’ innings. She was ably supported by Annabel Sutherland, who remained unbeaten on 54 from 39 balls, and Danielle Gibson, who unleashed a rapid 31 off just 15 balls.
