The fourth round of the domestic tournament saw three matches take place on the opening day, with one more match scheduled for tomorrow. Fans were treated to stellar performances with both bat and ball.

Sanjamul’s Century Anchors Rajshahi
Rajshahi ended their innings at 275 for 9 against Dhaka Division. Opening the innings at number three, Sanjamul Islam scored a brilliant 112 runs, remaining the sole batting powerhouse as no other player managed a fifty. Sanjamul was dismissed at number nine, marking his second first-class century.
The second-highest scorer was Sabbir Rahman with 47 runs. Dhaka’s off-spinner Ashraful Islam picked up four wickets, restricting Rajshahi from building an even bigger total.

Robiul’s Five-Wicket Haul Dominates Barisal
At Shahid Chandu Stadium in Bogura, Rangpur pacer Robiul Haque produced a stunning bowling performance against Barisal, claiming 5 wickets for just 25 runs in 11.4 overs, including 5 maidens. Barisal was bowled out for only 196, with Fazle Rabbi top-scoring with 80 runs. Eight of their batsmen failed to reach double figures, while another pacer, Mukidul Islam, took 3 wickets.
Rangpur’s innings also had a shaky start, losing both openers, Abdullah Al Mamun and Zahed Javed, early. However, unbeaten contributions from Naveen Islam (21*) and Naeem Islam (6*) steadied the innings.
