Bangladesh and Ireland are set to take the field in Sylhet for the first Test of the series tomorrow. The match will commence at 9:30am on Tuesday, 10 November, at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
To mark the 25th anniversary of Bangladesh’s Test cricket journey, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has launched a special initiative, granting free entry to students and teachers from schools, colleges, universities, and cricket academies for this opening Test.
Rahat Shams, BCB’s director in charge of the Sylhet region, confirmed that the free access is exclusively for students, teachers, and academy players.
BCB has stated that all attendees must carry valid institutional ID cards to enter the stadium. Gates 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 have been designated for entry, and free drinking water will be available for spectators.
For safety reasons, bags, outside food, and bottles are not permitted inside the stadium.
Meanwhile, tickets for the general public will be available at affordable prices. The ticket categories are as follows:
Green Hill Area and Shahid Turab Stand: 50 BDT
Shahid Abu Saeed Stand: 100 BDT
Club House: 250 BDT
Grand Stand: 500 BDT
