Bangladesh are gearing up to return to competitive international women’s football as the Tri-Nation Women’s Football Series kicks off on 26 November at the National Stadium. The two visiting teams—Azerbaijan and Malaysia—will join the hosts in what promises to be an exciting and competitive three-team tournament. Ahead of the event, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has officially announced the ticket prices.
The details were revealed by Golam Gaus, Chairman of BFF’s Competition Committee, during a press briefing held on Saturday (22 November) at the federation headquarters. He confirmed that online ticket sales will begin on 23 November, with pricing structured to encourage a large turnout of local fans.
General gallery tickets have been set at an affordable Tk 100, ensuring that supporters from all backgrounds can attend. Club House tickets will range between Tk 200 and Tk 300, depending on seating location. Meanwhile, VIP Gallery and Red Box seats will remain reserved exclusively for Dhaka Bank, the official sponsor of Bangladesh women’s football.
Officials explained that affordable ticket pricing is part of a wider effort to boost the popularity of women’s football across the country. With Bangladesh’s women’s team gaining recognition for their improved performances in recent years, enthusiasm among fans has noticeably increased.
The full tournament schedule has also been confirmed. Bangladesh will begin their campaign against Malaysia on 26 November, followed by a match between Malaysia and Azerbaijan on 29 November. The hosts will then play their final match against a strong Azerbaijan side on 2 December. All matches will kick off at 6 PM.
Azerbaijan, known for their physicality and structured play, will pose a serious challenge for Bangladesh, while Malaysia’s women’s team also arrives in decent form. For Bangladesh, performing well at home could significantly boost morale as well as international ranking aspirations.
Coaches and analysts believe that strong local support inside the stadium will play a key role. The players, too, are eager to showcase their talent in front of home fans and continue the momentum created by their recent achievements on the international stage.
