As the countdown to the FIFA World Cup intensifies, analysts, pundits, and fans alike are scrutinising the potential strengths and weaknesses of the participating teams. After winning the trophy in Brazil in 2014, Germany suffered the disappointment of exiting at the group stage in the following two tournaments, a scenario uncharacteristic for a four-time World Cup champion.
Commenting on Germany’s chances, Müller said,
“At first glance, just looking at our opponents, it is clear that advancing to the next round will be essential for us.”
