“This was our best away performance of the season. The result is disappointing and unfair. It’s shameful because I only saw one team on the pitch today. We played very well against a strong side, but the outcome doesn’t reflect that. It’s extremely frustrating because it’s completely unjust.”
Despite their dominance in possession and territorial control, PSG struggled to create clear-cut opportunities in and around Sporting’s penalty area. Their attacking plans were straightforward, and Lisbon’s defence dealt with their threats efficiently, leaving the French champions unable to break through at key moments.
