Despite his cautionary remarks, the Spanish tactician was quick to clarify that he retains faith in the match officials, whilst placing ultimate trust in his own squad’s tactical readiness. “I have full confidence in the referees, but I have even greater confidence in my team. We know exactly what kind of tactical discipline is required to navigate a match of this magnitude,” he added.
