Kane Hat-Trick Secures Bayern’s Domestic Double

Harry Kane delivered another decisive performance for Bayern Munich as the German champions defeated VfB Stuttgart 3-0 in the German Cup final in Berlin. The victory secured Bayern’s first domestic league-and-cup double in six years and marked their first German Cup triumph since 2020.

The England captain had already scored a hat-trick in the final round of the Bundesliga season and carried that form into the cup final. After a closely contested first half in which Stuttgart applied sustained pressure, Bayern broke the deadlock in the 55th minute through Kane. The striker added a second goal in the 80th minute before completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot in stoppage time.

The 32-year-old striker also achieved an individual milestone through his performance in the final. By scoring in every round of the German Cup, including the final, Kane became only the third footballer to accomplish that feat in the competition’s history.

Kane’s scoring record throughout the season has been one of the defining factors in Bayern’s campaign. Across all competitions, he scored 61 goals in 51 appearances for the club. His consistency in front of goal played a major role in Bayern’s domestic success.

The final goal came in the second minute of added time, when Kane converted a penalty with a powerful strike. Moments later, Bayern’s players and coaching staff began their celebrations as the club concluded the season with two domestic trophies.
