Zimbabwe pacer Blessing Muzarabani has been ruled out of the upcoming T20I tri-series in Pakistan due to a back injury.
Muzarabani’s absence is the only change to the squad that recently faced Afghanistan at home, with Newman Nyamhuri being called up as his replacement.
The tri-series, which forms part of Zimbabwe’s preparations for next year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, will be led by Sikandar Raza. The squad also includes experienced players such as Brendan Taylor, Ryan Burl, and Richard Ngarava.
Zimbabwe will kick off their campaign against hosts Pakistan in Rawalpindi on November 17. They will then face Sri Lanka on November 19 at the same venue. The action will shift to Lahore for the remaining round-robin matches on November 23 and 25, with the top two teams advancing to the final on November 29.
Zimbabwe squad: Sikandar Raza (capt), Brian Bennett, Ryan Burl, Graeme Cremer, Bradley Evans, Clive Madande, Tinotenda Maposa, Wellington Masakadza, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Tony Munyonga, Tashinga Musekiwa, Dion Myers, Richard Ngarava, Newman Nyamhuri, Brendan Taylor.
