The Bangladesh women’s national football team failed to secure a third consecutive South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women’s Championship title following a 3–1 defeat against host nation India in the tournament final. With this victory, India secured their sixth SAFF Women’s Championship trophy, reclaiming the regional crown they had last won in 2019.
